Robin Leo Hoffman
Hoffman is an actor, director and author.
Working with well-known directors such as Dennis Gansel and Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (for his feature film “Werk ohne Autor”), he gained his first professional set experience. As a sporty jack of all trades, he has solid martial arts andStunt skills, which he works on in projects such as the “Tatort:
Big City Animals ”or the Amazon Prime series“ Beat ”. Robin also works as a speaker and can be heard in ARTE documentaries. After the lockdown, he will be in front of the camera for ZDF in a series of “a strong team”.
Born in Saarbrücken, he moved to Berlin via the Palatinate five years ago to produce music videos (for musicians like Adel Tawil) and set foot in the film industry. In his hometown in Kaiserslautern, Robin discovered an early love of acting, played in the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern, in the theater in the Pfalzbau Ludwigshafen and also stood in front of the camera for regional cinema films in his youth. His first scenic directorial debut of the short film “Grau” (in which he also played the leading role) was able to win the prizes for “best director” and “third best film” at the 48-hour film festival. The following short film”Until Death do Us Part” was awarded at the Filmapalooza and would be on a special screening at the Short Film Corner Cannes Film Festival 2020. Robin lives and works in Berlin.
