Maximilian Wrede, born on June 11, 1993 in Aalen, completed his training at the acting school REDUTA Berlin in 2017. During this time he was already on the stage in the roles of Melchior Gabor in Wedekind’s “Frühslings Erwachen” and Jason in Euripides ” Medea ” in the Kulturforum Bottrop.
Since 2017 it can be seen on various theater stages in Berlin, including in the theater under the roof in Brechts / Eisler’s “Die Tage der Commune” as Jean Cabet, at the Ribbeck Castle Festival in Shakespeare’s “Romeo und Julia” as Romeo, in Alexandre Dumas “Die drei Musketiere” as a young king and in Charles Dickens’ “Eine Weihnachtsgeschichte” as Fred, at the Schaubühne Berlin in Horváth’s ,,Italienische Nacht” as a fascist and at Globe Berlin in Shakespeare’s “Romeo und Julia/Die Fremden”as Romeo.
Most recently he was in 2020 under the Tournee-Theater Landgraf with Tennessee Williams “Tod eines Handlungsreisenden” (director: Harald Demmer) in the roles of Bernard and Stanley on Tournee durch Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland. The production was awarded the 1st INTHEGA PRIZE.
Maximilian Wrede played the role of Walter Hartwig in the movie “Das schweigende Klassenzimmer” (directed by Lars Kraume), which received the Peace Prize of German Film -The Bridge in 2018.
