Eid Banquet

The play tells the story of Eid, a history teacher with wife, son and daughter who lives in a world in which reality and madness are in direct conflict: the woman prevents him from relieving himself in the toilet, because in her opinion, the toilet is not ment for faeces, but for the reception of guests. His daughter proudly recounts every day the sexual harassment and rape she has suffered, his son has his feet on the chair while his head is lying on the floor. Thus, family life follows the logic of insanity, and Eid is the only one to resist. The situation gets worse until Eid is eaten by his family.
